The Academy of Teachers
The Academy of Teachers is made up of all former Golden Apple recipients. This group of outstanding teachers meets every other month during the school year. In addition to meeting bimonthly with the Superintendent of Schools, the Academy also meets regularly to share best practices for excellence in teaching.
Academy members volunteer regularly to assist The Foundation with projects such as the Golden Apple Dinner and the Take Stock in Children Auction and hold workshops on writing Classroom Grants for all interested teachers.
